Bagaimana Teori Dibina?

  1. hi Doc...
i got the answer...tp tak aci sbb jawapan dah diberi tadi masa lecture... :)

Sila renung lagi...

  4. You are right. Think along the line of internal (you yourself) and external (the environment) in socialisation...

  5. in my humble opinion, theories are created, evolved and formed based on the curiosity of the theorist. as defined by what theory really is, it is an abstract system of concept and their relationships that help us to understand a phenomenon. and it is through this curiosity that enveloped a person's thought that triggered existing theorist to explore and venture into deeper understanding towards a phenomenon.

so far, of course i haven't come across a perfect theory and theories have limitations as well. as for the accuracy of a theory as suggested by Hassan (i think Hassan meant about "how true and accurate" of a theory) i believe that this "accuracy" is very vague and hard to define (perhaps, still not in my field of knowledge, haha) because it is all about abstract concepts and their correlations that form a theory. it is just seen as a knowing to explain a phenomenon.

how my comment shed lights and really looking forward to your feedbacks. thank you

  6. Good comments from Jian Yang. Although you are in your second year of bachelor’s level (I supposed), you have exhibited good philosophical level in looking at “reality” in theory. Keep it up!

  7. Dr. Chang & friends,

I agree with Jian Yang's opinion. May I add up, in my personal opinion, other than the curiosity, experiences also triggers to form the theories. In other words, experience causes curiosity and then human being started to make experiments or studies to confirm what they think of a situation or a phenomenon (or to venture into deeper understanding towards a phenomenon as Jian Yang have said).
